Visage, the psychological horror game inspired by PT, announces its release date for PS4, Xbox One and PC [VIDEO]

SadSquare Studio’s game has been in Early Acess since 2018.

On few occasions a demo has brought as much queue as PT’s, a demonstration launched a few years ago by Hideo Kojima and Konami on PlayStation 4. This test version was the preview of what Silent Hills should be, but the project ended up being cancelled. . At least it served as an inspiration for other companies and from there came Visage, a psychological horror game based on this demo.

The video game from indie studio SadSquare Studio came out in Early Access in 2018, after declaring in 2017 that it was delayed. Now, after years of waiting, the developers have finally announced the game’s release date. Visage will be released on PS4, Xbox One and PC on October 30 and promises about fifteen hours of play during the eight chapters that will make up the story.

To celebrate the announcement, the studio has released a new trailer in which it shows us the anguish that we will experience within the game. The house in which the action takes place will be changeable and, indeed, we can see quite clearly how the game is influenced by PT. Entire families died in this place, after chilling events. Those dead will come after us.

In the game, we will not have a way to defend ourselves and we will experience the action in the first person, while we interact with the environment and avoid the presences that want to go after us. The title has a very positive overall rating on Steam, with 87% of players liking the game.
