Silent Hills, God of War: Ragnarok, Metal Gear Solid Remake: Details From A Leaker [VIDEO]

Moore’s Law Is Dead (said law is about how integrated circuits’ number of transistors double every two years) has a few rumours for us.

The channel in the video below talks about three games. About Silent Hills, he claims that Kojima Productions seems to be involved with it a bit and that it could be announced by Sony and Konami at The Game Awards in December. However, the leaker hasn’t talked to anyone who develops the project, but since we have heard a few times in the past months that the game, which was put on ice in 2015, might be back in development, it might be plausible.

Regarding God of War: Ragnarok, he says that Sony first wanted to show some gameplay demo for the game during the State of Play in September, but after seeing Halo: Infinite’s gameplay, Sony decided to hold it back. The demo is ready, and the announcement might have looked awkwardly short because of it, but the leaker was right about this game (as well as its reported 2021 launch), so he might be wrong about a few things, he was right about this one. A The Game Awards reveal seems plausible here.

About Metal Gear Solid’s remake, he heard from multiple sources that the game has been in development for three (!!!) years. Allegedly, Mark Cerny (the internal architect of the PlayStation 4, the PlayStation 5, and the PlayStation Vita, effectively Sony’s equivalent to Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto) is working on it. Sony didn’t want to reveal it yet due to the strong PlayStation 5 launch line-up. Bluepoint Games might not be developing it (as they needed help by Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Studio for Demon’s Souls remake a la the PlayStation 4 remake of Shadow of the Colossus).

We have to point it out that nothing’s official yet, and not everything might turn out to be real information later. But seeing how all three studios (Kojima Productions, SIE Santa Monica, Bluepoint Games) have strong Sony ties, we should consider that.
