PlayStation Plus: What Can We Expect In The February Line-Up?

As we are on the last Wednesday of the month yet again, the question stands those who spend money to have online multiplayer, what titles can they access for free in return for their „monetary sacrifice?”

The situation is a little weird, as previously (back in october no less), Sony has already confirmed what one of the PlayStation Plus titles will be. Back when Destruction AllStars was delayed (Lucid Games’ work was meant to be a PlayStation 5 launch title) to February, they also said it is going to be a freebie for the PlayStation Plus subscribers for the first two months, confirming that the PlayStation 5 game for February and March will be this car combat title by Lucid Games.

But this is just one game of the three – what are the other two that the PlayStation 4 users can get for the month? The first PlayStation 4 title will be Control: Ultimate Edition (which means you also gain access to the PlayStation 5 version!) from Remedy Entertainment in case you have ignored Jesse Faden’s adventures so far. The second PlayStation Plus title for the PlayStation 4 will be Concrete Genie, a smaller, indie offering.

Until February 1, you can access the January titles, so in case you skipped Maneater (PlayStation 5 – the PS5 users can also play the PlayStation Plus Collection ), Shadow of the Tomb Raider (PlayStation 4), or Greedfall (PlayStation 4), you can still get them. Destruction AllStars will stay as part of the PlayStation Plus line-up until April 5, while Control: Ultimate Edition and Concrete Genie will stay until March 1.

Not bad, but we should expect more from Sony, such as making it four games as a regular offering each month, but then, they might increase the price, which Microsoft tried with Xbox Live Gold, only to face backlash and reverse the price hike.
