The Life is Strange Remastered Collection will also be delayed

Publisher Square Enix and developers Dontnod Entertainment and Deck Nine Games have delayed the Life is Strange Remastered Collection from its previously planned release date of September 10 to early 2022. The game will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC via Steam.

Here’s Square Enix‘s complete statement on the delay:

Hello, Life is Strange fans!

We have some important updates for you on the upcoming release dates. Following the release of Life is Strange: True Colors on September 10, we’re pleased to announce that the Life is Strange: Wavelengths downloadable content starring Steph Gingrich will be released on September 30.

Tomorrow, for the first time, we’ll be giving you a sneak peek into this game via a new trailer!

However, with the ongoing challenges of the global pandemic, we’d like to alleviate further pressure on the Life is Strange team by giving more time between the two releases in the series: the True Colors and Remastered Collection.

This has led to the difficult decision to postpone the release of Life is Strange: the Remastered Collection for all platforms – PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Stadia and Switch – until early 2022.

We hope you understand. Thank you for your patience and overwhelming support! For more information, please keep an eye on our official channels.
