Blasphemous Sequel Coming in 2023, New DLC Revealed

After two major free DLCs, Blasphemous the Souls-like action-platformer is getting its final update later this year in 2021.

The DLC update for the main story is coming later this year in December 2021, once again completely free just like the last two updates, this will be available for all major console platforms and PC. With this news there was also another surprise announcement  at this year’s Gamescom, which was that a fully fledged sequel is being worked on by The Game Kitchen and will be released some time in 2023.

Not much has been revealed besides a simple title drop, and also a statement from the developers:

“We’re so excited to finally announce that we’ve started on a Blasphemous sequel, the community have shown so much love for the first game and we can’t wait to share more when we can!” says Game Kitchen in a statement.
