Wolverine will not be another Miles Morales

With the announcement of Spider-Man 2, many feared that Wolverine would remain a minor project. Fortunately, that won’t be the case.

Insomniac Games has provided a little more information about one of their projects in development, Wolverine. They’ve been bombarded with questions about the upcoming PS5-exclusive game, and the most significant concern from the community was that the game would be a smaller scale side project than Spider-Man 2, their other project that promises to be huge.

Wolverine fans will also be spoiled by Insomniac Games, as Brian Horton, the game’s creative director, said the title will be “full-fledged”. A short description that doesn’t say much, but at least we can expect a bigger Miles Morales project.

This is surprising from the studio, as they are developing 2 PS5-exclusive games at the same time. Unlike the web sequel, however, Wolverine doesn’t have a release date yet, so it’ll be a while before we can enjoy the killing on Sony‘s new console.

As a bonus, the game will also have a more mature tone, which suits the Marvel mutant perfectly. We don’t know if it will achieve the most stringent ESRB rating, but if Insomniac Games wants to get the title into as many hands as possible, they’ll have to consider this decision seriously.
