Doom Patrol: DC’s Weirdest Superheroes Return to HBO GO

MOVIE NEWS – The first three episodes of Doom Patrol Season 3 are now available on HBO GO with English subtitles, with a new episode arriving every week thereafter.

DOOM PATROL reimagines the story of one of DC’s most popular groups of superheroes: The cast includes Robot Man aka Cliff Steele (Brendan Fraser), Negative Man aka Larry Trainor (Matt Bomer), Elastigirl aka Rita Farr (April Bowlby), Crazy Jane (Diane Guerrero) and Cyborg aka Victor Stone (Joivan Wade), led by modern-day mad scientist Niles Caulder aka The Boss (Timothy Dalton). All members of the Doom Patrol have suffered horrific accidents in the past, giving them superhuman abilities but leaving their bodies covered in horrific scars and other lesions. The Doom Patrol is both a support group and a superhero team: a community of strange creatures with superhuman abilities fighting for a world that doesn’t want to hear about them.

Season three begins at a particularly tense moment: Dorothy (Abi Monterey) faces off against the Candlecaster, which soon leads to a devastating loss. The Doom Patrol team is faced with a difficult crossroads, and each member must confront who they are and who they want to be. And things get even more complicated when a time machine arrives and Madame Rouge (Michelle Gomez) is on a special mission, but she can’t remember what it is.

DOOM PATROL is produced by Berlanti Productions for Warner Bros. Television. It is executive produced by Jeremy Carver, Geoff Johns, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Chris Dingess and Tamara Becher-Wilkinson. The characters in the series were originally created for DC by Arnold Drake, Bob Haney and Bruno Premiani.
