Are Troy Baker And Roger Clark Working On Fort Solis?

Fort Solis? What’s that? Fallen Leaf Studio hasn’t even announced the game yet, but we’re already hearing about it.

Let’s start from the beginning. On Twitter, we can see a picture of Troy Baker and Roger Clark taking a selfie together in full motion capture gear. Troy Baker, for example, was the voice of Joel Baker in The Last of Us, while Roger Clark is Arthur Baker from Red Dead Redemption 2 (but also seen on television in The Wild West and Zero Hour).

Baker’s work in the games industry can be traced back to 2004, with a few examples of his work in Resident Evil 6, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End (he did the voice of Nathan Drake in the series… ), Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Persona 4, White Knight Chronicles, Ghostbusters: The Video Game… so it’s safe to say that he’s a veteran voice actor in the games industry, and if he’s going to be involved in a game, it’s not going to be an indie project, quite the opposite.

IGN Italy has reported that Fallen Leaf Studio’s as-yet-unannounced Fort Solis game will be a third-person sci-fi horror game running on Unreal Engine 5 and is supposed to be released in the first quarter of 2023 (so sometime between January and the end of March). Baker and Clark aren’t the only ones in the cast, as Julia Brown is also working on the game, which is supposed to be called Fort Solis. At this point, the reader might well ask how we know the game’s name if the studio hasn’t even announced it… well, Clark’s tweet has the hashtag #FORTSOLIS right out in the open. And that’s no coincidence.

We’ve never heard of the studio and Fort Solis game! It could be a new team, and if such big names are behind it, it may be a Sony Interactive Entertainment initiative that the company hasn’t officially announced yet. It’s speculation on our part. The press release is supposedly claiming a late October release; the studio is Polish; they look for 2.5 million dollars from an investor for this multiplatform title… but if you have such huge names involved, how much of it can be true?

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
