Andrew Garfield Told How His Spider-Man Would Relate To Iron Man [VIDEO]

And it looks like it would be very different to the relationship he has with Tom Holland’s Spider-Man

Within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we’ve seen that Tony Stark is practically a father figure to Peter Parker (Tom Holland), who supports him even with the technology in his suits. Still, something we hadn’t considered is that that doesn’t mean Iron Man is rising well with all of Spider-Man.

In a recent interview with GQ, Andrew Garfield let it be known that he would believe his Spider-Man would not get along with Tony Stark, as answering questions from fans, he said he felt his Peter would be annoyed by Tony’s ego, though we’ll never know for sure.

Garfield said, “I definitely think Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man would be suspicious of the MCU’s Iron Man. I think he’d be a little bit disgusted by the excess, the billionaire, trillionaire status of Iron Man. I think it would affect my version of Spider-Man in the wrong way. But maybe there could be some influence there. Maybe my Peter Parker could wake Tony Stark up a little bit about his own egotistical impulses. We’ll never know. We’ll literally never know. ”

As you may know, Andrew Garfield previously played Peter Parker in The Amazing Spider-Man. He knew he was part of a universe that didn’t involve Tony Stark or the Avengers.

And well, Garfield is right about that we’ll never know, as even if the rumours prove true. He may make his MCU debut with his appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home, but he won’t meet Tony Stark due to Robert Downey Jr.’s character having his finale in Avengers: Endgame, though you never know what might happen with the Multiverse theme.

Andrew Garfield has been adamantly denying rumours of his appearance in No Way Home, something he has been commenting on for several months now. Even recently, the actor said he is sick of being asked about it.
