Ronaldo Surprises With New Twitch Channel And Shows Off His Warzone Skills

His entry into the world of Twitch comes as no surprise, as he had already expressed his love for video games

Ronaldo has won the hearts of millions of football fans throughout a career that took him to the top of the sport, being considered one of the best strikers in history. However, the former footballer has now begun to explore other areas. Following a passion of his own, he has launched a Twitch channel on which he will broadcast his experiences with video games, starting with rounds of Call of Duty: Warzone.

As reported by the media Millenium, the current Real Valladolid president has unexpectedly opened Ronaldo TV, where he shows his skills in Activision’s battle royale. However, this is not a spontaneous decision, as it was already known that the well-known sportsman likes to spend his free time playing video games. And now, with his Twitch channel, he not only reiterates this thought but also shows that he is pretty good at it.

With the isolation of the pandemic, I felt a growing need to connect with you guys, to interact, to give back. I started to play more, and the world of video games, which already fascinated me, entered my routine once and for all,” says Ronaldo. However, beyond his enjoyment of this digital medium, he also doesn’t downplay the versatility of Twitch as a platform: “Like you, I also watched a lot of lives, I became more interested in the digital universe and how young people are changing habits and, consequently, consumption patterns.

Of course, Call of Duty: Warzone is a perfect title for the former footballer to stream dozens of matches, although the battle royale is already being prepared for integration into Call of Duty: Vanguard. We’ll have to see how this tie-up plays out, as several players have so far experienced problems with the latest instalment of the franchise. However, the creators continue to improve their shooter and add new content along the way.
