Scorn: The Mysterious “Biopunk” Horror FPS Has A New Trailer [VIDEO]

Scorn, Ebb Software’s first-person shooter for Xbox Series and PC, has been delayed several times, but it looks like it’s coming next autumn.

Scorn has been one of the most anticipated games for horror fans, thanks to its unmistakable design inspired by H. R. Giger and the Alien universe. The creators launched funding for the project on Kickstarter in 2017, but after investments from Microsoft, Kowloon and Kepler, the project suffered some delays, primarily due to the ever-increasing budget that made it more ambitious.

Last month, the studio responded to the lack of a new gameplay demo and presence at events by stating that hype is an industry problem that continually hinders and delays projects. However, it appears that the Ebb Software team is finally preparing for the final months of development with a release date of October 2022.

Scorn to arrive in October 2022 for Xbox Series and PC

Ebb Software has shared the expected release date for Scorn in a trailer that showcases all the atmospheric horror that has won over fans: mysterious figures popping up in biopunk aesthetic environments will leave no one cold. Ebb Software also shared new information on Kickstarter, including more technical aspects of the development process and an interview with the art team.

“We are excited to share more news about the game and its release date. Scorn has been an inspiring project for the whole studio. The atmosphere, the journey and the experience, we want every moment of Scorn to evoke an emotional and sentimental response,” confessed Ljubomir Peklar, CEO of Ebb Software. The studio promised to share more news and updates as we get closer to launch.
