[TGA] Here Is The Full List Of The Game Awards 2021 Winners!

At this year’s The Game Awards, Deathloop won Best Game Direction, while actress Maggie Robertson was recognised for her performance in Resident Evil Village.

As we previously reported, the top prize at The Game Awards 2021 went to It Takes Two. The show, which took place for the eighth time on Thursday, was held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. The event recognised the best creative and technical achievements in studio and independent video games.

Produced by Electronic Arts (under the EA Originals label) and Swedish game developer Hazelight Studios, It Takes Two explores relationships and divorce with playful humour and a touch of darkness. Director Josef Fares is known in Hollywood for his first feature, Brothers.

The ceremony, hosted by The Game Awards creator and executive producer Geoff Keighley and broadcast live around the world, featured musical acts such as Imagine Dragons and Sting and trailers for Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and the Halo TV series. Stars such as Ben Schwartz, Giancarlo Esposito, Guillermo del Toro, Jim Carrey, Keanu Reeves, Ming-Na Wen and Simu Liu appeared.

Deathloop won Best Game Direction, while Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy was recognised for its outstanding narrative.

The acting category went to Maggie Robertson for her role as Lady Dimitrescu in Resident Evil Village.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits won Best Indie and Best Debut Indie Game. Life Is Strange: True Colors was the winner in the “Games for Impact” category, which is awarded to thought-provoking titles with a socially friendly meaning or message.
