According to one insider, GTA 6 will be Rockstar’s only game this generation

 

 

As of right now, the general public has no idea what Rockstar is working on besides supporting GTA Online and Red Dead Online. Leaker AccountNGT has said that he believes GTA 6 is the only game in development at Rockstar, casting doubt on a Bully revival.

It’s unclear if this is speculation or something they’ve heard internally, but they also said they’d be surprised if Bully 2 restarts development. That said, there has also been speculation that GTA 6 will be announced in 2022 and released in 2023, but no one knows for sure.

Rockstar plans to release a remaster of Grand Theft Auto 5 in 2022, so that may be the main focus for the developer.

There have been rumours suggesting that GTA 6 has had a chaotic development, but it’s likely that fans won’t understand better until it launches. Given the length of time it has taken to launch, there is a high bar that Rockstar will have to clear.

That level of pressure may make it difficult, but Rockstar has plenty of developers and studios, which should mean the company can take the time it needs to make sure GTA 6 launches to a high standard.
