Based on the cult horror film series Evil Dead, the co-operative horror game aims to “deliver the best possible experience.”

Saber Interactive and Bossa Studios have surprised us with a title based on the cult franchise, which will hit our screens thanks to the Ash vs Evil Dead series. The game offers a multiplayer experience that allows teams of four survivors to explore and pillage locations.

Evil Dead: The Game arrives on 13 May

Although the game focuses on co-operative multiplayer, the creators have guaranteed that players will be able to fight for survival in the video game without online companions. Evil Dead: The Game was once pushed back to 2022 with a February release date but will finally arrive on 13 May 2022 for Ash PS5, Xbox Series X and S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.

Saber Interactive promises a new trailer for February

The studio made the announcement via the game’s official Twitter account, where they shared their responsibility to make an “amazing game” worthy of the franchise and will ship the game in May to “deliver the best experience possible. “Saber Interactive admitted that “this delay gives the team the time they need to get everything right.”

“Your rifle is loaded and waiting, ready to shoot the Deadites.” Fortunately, the studio has promised to ease the wait with a new trailer, due later this February.
