In addition to the new edition of Republique, Camouflaj has also launched a Japanese branch, led by a legend with localisation experience.

Camouflaj has announced that Republique: Anniversary Edition will be available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation VR and Nintendo Switch from next week. The PlayStation versions can be bought together as a bundle for $20. Otherwise, each version costs 15 bucks a pop.

Meanwhile, Camouflaj has launched Camouflaj Holdings in Japan, with Devil May Cry 5 producer Matt Walker in charge of its day-to-day running. Working alongside him is localisation legend Alexander O. Smith, who also worked on the translation of Final Fantasy VIII. He later got involved with the Ace Attorney series and Ori and the Will of the Wisps. Walker said in the press release, „We’re thrilled to be starting a new chapter in Camouflaj’s history with the opening of Camouflaj Holdings here in Japan. Our second base here will strengthen our capability to build high quality, meaningful games globally. Republique: Anniversary Edition‘s arrival on Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation VR celebrates the studio’s first decade.
