God Of War Behind The Scenes: How One Of The Funniest Deleted Scenes Was Made! [VIDEO]

Although the moment didn’t eventually – unfortunately – appear in God of War, it was featured in a Kratos-focused documentary.

The God of War universe has expanded following its recent PC release, and thousands of players are now getting to experience Kratos’ latest adventure. The Santa Monica title has managed to become the highest-rated PlayStation game on Steam after breaking concurrent player records on the platform. As a result, more and more players are asking the same question: Kratos, being Kratos, why doesn’t he throw brutal insults?

We don’t know the answer to that question, but we do know that Santa Monica has considered including a bit of profanity in one of the God of War cutscenes. As you can see in the video at the bottom of this article, Kratos has a strange thought when he has to pick flowers:

“I am a f*cking god of war!”

This doesn’t take anything away from the fact that Kratos does go out to pick said flowers. But this scene, taken from the documentary God of War: Raising Kratos, goes a little further, showing the voice actors’ reaction to the protagonist’s words. There’s also a curious interaction between Christopher Judge (who plays Kratos in the game) and Sunny Suljic (who voices Atreus).

As for the characters’ future, we already know that Amazon is in talks to adapt the franchise for its platform, so that we can expect news about Kratos and his companions beyond the video game. And if we look exclusively at the gamer world, gamers can expect information about God of War: Ragnarok, which is scheduled to be released in 2022.
