MOVIE NEWS – Filming has already begun on the new season of The Witcher, the new adventure of Geralt of Rivia, played by Henry Cavill.

 

 

The Witcher series has been a massive success on Netflix, with the second season triumphing by taking the number one spot on the global charts in its first weekend on the platform, boosting the first season’s ratings. However, fans of Geralt were left wanting more, and thankfully we have learned that a third season is already in the works.

As well as introducing us to the new Sardinilla (aka Geralt’s horse), the production company has shared four new faces…

…who will join the cast of the series in season three to bring to life the roles of Gallatin, Milva, Mistle and Prince Radovid.

Robbie Amell, who was seen as Chris Redfield in Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, will lead the guerrillas as Gallatin in Nilfgaard’s defence.

Meng’er Zhang, known as Xu Xialing in Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings, will play Milva, a huntress adopted by the Dryads. Hugh Skinner (Geno Namit in Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi) will play Prince Radovid, brother of King Vizimir, a handsome and charming man, a royal playboy with great political instincts. Christelle Elwin will play Mistle, a member of the Rats: a mistrustful young woman who makes a living stealing from the rich with her gang.

The new action-adventure RPG set in Andrzej Sapkowski’s literary universe is already in development and, as we learned last month, will use Unreal Engine 5. Based on the preliminary information shared by the creators, we’ve even guessed that the medallion shared on the game’s first poster is a lynx.
