Overwatch 2 Beta: How to Sign up for the Beta, Dates and Requirements

Overwatch 2 has regained much of its media prominence after the Xbox & Bethesda Showcase. After all, Blizzard, together with Microsoft, confirmed that its game would adopt a free-to-play model so that each and every player who wants to can enjoy the game at no additional cost. Shortly after, through its official account, Overwatch 2 gave new information about its upcoming beta.

The answer is divided into two parts. On the one hand, the registration. As reported by Blizzard through the video game’s Twitter account, registrations for the Overwatch 2 closed beta will begin next June 16. They will also reveal new details about it, both the requirements and the duration. Or so we hope.

On the one hand. On the other hand, when the Overwatch 2 beta starts. Well, it will be next June 28, so we will have to wait a little bit to try the new features -save the redundancy- of the hero shooter.

How to sign up for the Overwatch 2 beta?

To access the Overwatch 2 beta, you must access the beta page, select the platform where you want to enjoy the game and log in Battle.net, remember that it will be available for PC, Playstation and Xbox.

Access is not maintained from the previous Overwatch 2 PvP beta. For the next one, the main goal is to test the console and cross-platform gameplay capabilities as we test the server little by little. Because of this, we need to select players based on platform, so we will be starting a new registration process that takes platform preference into account.

Players selected through registration on the website will receive an invitation via email. Invitations will always be sent to the email address associated with the Battle.net account and will arrive gradually.Unlike the first closed beta, this time we will be able to test the game on our consoles. At least on most of them. As far as we know, the second Overwatch 2 beta will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox X|S Series and PC, although the latter will only be through Battle.net. On this occasion, unless they say otherwise at the last minute, it seems that only Switch is left out.

Finally, two important news: there will be a new map and we will be able to test, for the first time, Junker Queen, the new heroine of the game. That said, we’ll see you again tomorrow to tell you everything new about the beta.
