Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed: Exterminating Humanity Together [VIDEO]

In Black Forest Games’ title, you can not only get rid of all humanity on your own, but you can do it with a friend.

The reimagined version of Destroy All Humans! 2 features local co-op gameplay: you can get rid of the humans in your way with a friend via split-screen. It’s not a bad idea, as there aren’t many outstanding games that offer this kind of gameplay nowadays, even though it was still widespread back in the PS2 era, two decades ago, when online multiplayer mainly was limited to PC and Xbox…

We wrote the following about the game a month ago: “You can pre-order the game already for 40 USD/EUR or 35 GBP. A more expensive edition is dubbed the Dressed to Skill edition, costing 55 USD/EUR or 45 GBP. It will include the Skin Pack at launch, and later, a DLC called Challenge Accepted will also arrive; on PC, the digital soundtrack and artbook will also be ours. The DLC will be available from the last quarter of 2022 (sometime between October and December). Pre-ordering (whichever version) will grant access to the multiplayer spin-off game, Destroy All Humans! Clone Carnage.

According to THQ Nordic’s press release about the game, “In Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed, a faithful remake of the most acclaimed entry in the fan-favourite Destroy All Humans! franchise, our charming but evil alien invader Crypto (138!) will unleash his extensive weapons onto five huge open-world areas: Bay City, Albion, Takoshima, Tunguska, and the Moon!

Players will experience the swinging ’60s in all its glory and deal with Hippies, the KGB, and many other threats. To roam quickly around the large areas, Crypto can use his jetpack, hoverboard, and, of course, his flying saucer, equipped with a neat little arsenal of destruction. The saucer received an exciting update: abducting humans in specific numbers (you’ll have to follow the recipe!) will unlock new skills.”

Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed launches on August 30 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC (Steam).
