BREAKING! The First Short Teaser Trailer For The Last Of Us Hbo Series Is Finally Here! [Video]

CINEMA NEWS – The HBO Max program guide arrived in our mailbox this morning, in which we could gain an insight into many future HBO Max series, including the adaptation of the long-awaited Sony PlayStation exclusive video game The Last of Us, originally released for PS3.

“First look at The Last of Us, The Idol and many other HBO series. Along with the premiere of House of Dragons, a new teaser video has arrived, offering an exclusive look at what HBO MAX has to offer” – read HBO In Max’s press release. It’s true: The first part of House of Dragons has recently been available on HBO Max (you can read our review here), not even in 4K UHD resolution, which is not always typical of the streaming service provider’s new content. So we can hope that we will also receive The Last of Us in this quality.

The extent to which The Last of Us series is really highlighted can be seen from the fact that even among the summary, preliminary HBO Max trailers, it received a completely separate and much longer segment at the very end than the much shorter preview trailers of the other series.

In the trailer, we can see Pedro Pascal, in his role as Joel, carefully reading to Ellie: “You have no idea what a loss is!” – and leaving all my previous doubts aside, as a fan of The Last of Us, I was amazed at how much Pascal got into the role. I can say similar good things about Bella Ramsay, who also brings Ellie’s desperation and fears well in this very short segment. We also see Nick Offerman as Bill for a brief moment.

So The Last of Us is in the works, just as the other HBO Max series shown in the trailer look interesting, and I’m especially looking forward to Tokyo Vice – I hope Mr. Zaslav won’t look at it with a “slanted eye” when he takes into account the series waiting to be cut. …

You can see the full HBO Max trailer here, and below only the clipped The Last of Us segment.
