Here Are The First Official Images From Negan And Maggie’s The Walking Dead Spinoff, The Walking Dead: Dead City, And We’ve Found Out When The Series Is Coming

MOVIE NEWS – Work is progressing quickly on ‘The Walking Dead’ spin-off, and we can see the first one in the spring. In the meantime, check out Negan and Maggie’s photos from The Walking Dead: Dead City series, and we also found out when it’s finally coming.

We can watch The Walking Dead series finale this autumn, 12 years after the premiere. However, this does not mean the end of the zombie universe created by AMC TV. Three spin-offs are currently filming: The Walking Dead: Dead City starring Lauren Cohan and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, “Daryl Dixon” Norman Reedus and “Rick & Michonne” Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira. The former already has an approximate release date, and cozy first pictures have also been released.

When will the premiere take place?

As announced at New York Comic-Con, the series will premiere in April 2023. In the series, Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and Maggie (Lauren Cohan) will set out in a post-apocalyptic Manhattan that has long been removed from the mainland. The crumbling city is filled with the dead and residents who have made New York their own world, full of anarchy, danger, beauty and horror.

The AMC has not revealed the full cast yet, but we can say that Gaius Charles (‘Friday Night Lights’) will play the role of the self-confident, cruel Isaac, who is a devoted family man and has survived a painful loss.

The first season of The Walking Dead: Dead City will have six episodes. The showrunner of the series is Eli Jorné (“The Walking Dead”), while the executive producer positions are held by Scott M. Gimple (“The Walking Dead”) and the main characters of the series.

The premiere of the series will therefore take place in April 2023, and you can see the promised (additional) pictures here:
