PS Plus Premium & Extra Dumping: 23 Free Games Coming To The Service In October!

There’s no mistake, these 23 free games are coming to PS Plus Extra and Premium members in October, with some memorable titles among them.

We’re approaching the middle of October, and subscribers to services like PS Plus know what’s happening these days: the announcement of games coming to Essential, Extra and Premium. PlayStation has followed its usual line by unveiling the Essential bundle 3 title, and now it’s published the complete list of games you’ll be able to access if you subscribe to Extra and Premium.

As you can see from the list below, this month’s batch includes 16 PS4 and PS5 games, with Assassin’s Creed and Dragon Quest heavily represented and 7 titles from Sony’s older platforms.

All of these games will be available from 18 October.

October games for PS Plus Extra and Premium users:

  • Grand Theft Auto: Vice City – The Definitive Edition | PS4, PS5
  • Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – The Definitive Edition | PS4, PS5
  • Assassin’s Creed Odyssey | PS4
  • Dragon Quest Builders | PS4
  • Dragon Quest Builders 2 | PS4
  • Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below | PS4
  • Dragon Quest Heroes II: Explorer’s Edition | PS4
  • Inside | PS4
  • The Medium | PS5
  • Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker | PS4
  • Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China | PS4
  • Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India | PS4
  • Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Russia | PS4
  • Assassin’s Creed III Remastered | PS4
  • Assassin’s Creed Syndicate | PS4
  • Hohokum | PS4

Classic October games for PS Plus Premium members:

  • Yakuza 3 Remastered | PS4
  • Yakuza 4 Remastered | PS4
  • Yakuza 5 Remastered | PS4
  • Limbo | PS3
  • Ultra Street Fighter IV | PS3
  • Castlevania: Lords of Shadow | PS3
  • Everyday Shooter | PS3

Focusing solely on Extra’s games, it’s worth noting that alongside titles like Assassin’s Creed and Dragon Quest, there are also great entries like Inside and The Medium. In addition, the service aims to cover all gamer tastes with offerings such as GTA: Vice City – The Definitive Edition, which includes GTA 3 and GTA: San Andreas trilogy, or Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker for manganime fans.

And for fans of the more classic adventure games, the best-known experiences from the Yakuza series will keep you entertained, but that’s not all the Premium section has to offer.

In any case, it looks like PlayStation is looking to further expand its PS Plus catalogue with a whole bunch of new games. It should be remembered, however, that Sony has no plans to include any of its games in the launch service, although that doesn’t stop them from continuing to polish the user experience as much as possible to address the issues that received the most criticism.
