[TGA 2022] Judas: Finally, BioShock Creator Revealed His Brand New Game! [VIDEO]

BioShock creator Ken Levine and his studio Ghost Story Games have finally unveiled their new game, the first-person shooter Judas.

Ken Levine has finally revealed his first new game since BioShock Infinite. It is, miraculously, a brand new first-person shooter IP, Judas.

Ken Levine is best known for his work on the BioShock franchise: he directed the original game and BioShock Infinite, both landmark titles.

After the release of BioShock Infinite in 2013, Levine founded Ghost Story Games to work on a new project. Fans have waited nearly a decade to find out what Levine’s next project will be. Now the big secret has finally been revealed.

Judas was unveiled at The Game Awards with a stunning trailer that definitely had a BioShock vibe. It’s a single-player, story-driven first-person shooter set for release on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Players take on the role of Judas, who must find a way to escape from a “disintegrating starship”. Not much has been revealed about the plot of the game. However, Levine is looking to follow in the footsteps of his previous titles, so BioShock fans will want to keep an eye out for it.

Interestingly, Ghost Story Games is actually planning to self-publish the title. Ghost Story Games is a subsidiary of Take-Two Interactive. Since BioShock games are published by 2K, one would think that 2K would publish the first Ghost Story project. However, it seems that this is not the case.

Although Judas is not published by 2K, the publisher of BioShock, the game clearly has a lot in common with the BioShock franchise. The gameplay in the trailer is very similar, and the environment looks like it’s set in Rapture.

What makes Judas a little different from BioShock is that it seems to be more sci-fi focused, with robot characters and some new technology to take the place of plasmids.

Based on what we’ve seen so far, it looks like Judas will be a big hit with BioShock fans when it comes out. Unfortunately, no release window for Judas was announced at The Game Awards, but now that it’s finally out, hopefully, fans will get to see more of the game sooner rather than later.
