Harrison Ford Proves In An Interview That He Is The Perfect Marvel Actor! [VIDEO]

MOVIE NEWS – The interview started very promisingly, as Harrison Ford said he would tell absolutely everything he knows.

Marvel Studios, like SHIELD in the Marvel Universe, is a secret organization that doesn’t give out much information. They don’t like news to leak out prematurely. A stray spoiler can trigger a domino effect, which can lead to the reveal of information about one movie, which can lead to the reveal of information about another movie, and so on. This is why Harrison Ford is the perfect person to take on a role in a Marvel movie.

Harrison Ford appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to discuss the upcoming Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.

After talking about the de-aging technology used in the film, Colbert asked Ford if he had anything to tell viewers about the upcoming Captain America: A New World Order.

“I am allowed to tell you everything I know,” Harrison says. “Ask me anything.”

The answer puzzled Colbert, who struggled to think of a question until he finally asked, “Where does the film take place?”

“I don’t know,” Ford replied.

If you’ve ever listened to Harrison Ford in an interview – especially about Star Wars, another film series with a dedicated fanbase and a detailed history – you know that beyond information directly related to his character, he doesn’t bother to keep anything about the script or details of the films. Because he’s only learning the bare minimum. This does not seem to prevent him from delivering consistently enjoyable performances in his movies. Besides, he is always a source of humour in such interviews.

Every TV presenter is eager to be the one to pull a flashy spoiler out of one of the MCU actors. When it comes to Ford, you won’t get anything out of him – he just doesn’t care.

It’s impossible to blurt out something from a movie you know nothing about. In our mind’s eye, we see Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige nodding with a smile as he watches the interview.

Ford officially joined the MCU in October 2022, when it was announced that he would replace the late William Hurt as Minister Thaddeus Ross, who first starred in 2008’s The Incredible Hulk until 2021’s Black Widow, before his death in March 2022. Few details are yet available about the film, but Anthony Mackie will star as Sam Wilson, the new Captain America after the retirement of Steve Rogers.

The film will also pick up one of the MCU’s oldest cliffhangers. The film is scheduled to premiere on May 3, 2024.
