The film about the father of the atomic bomb will be unusually long

MOVIE NEWS – Oppenheimer will be three hours long, one of the film’s main characters, Matt Damon, revealed. If you think about it, this period of time doesn’t seem so long after all, since the film covers the forty eventful years of the life of the scientist who is also known as the father of the atomic bomb.

Christopher Nolan, who is considered the prodigy of Hollywood, has not been famous for his works until now, Among the Stars was 169 minutes long, but The Dark Knight em> and Origin could not be cut shorter than two and a half hours. The unusual length allows Oppenheimer to present a rarely seen star parade: the title role is played by the director’s favorite, Cillian Murphy, and he gets an important role, among others, Emily Blunt, Robert Downey Jr., Rami Malek, Florence Pugh, Gary Oldman, Casey Affleck, Olivia Thirlby and Josh Hartnett too.

The Universal studio has high hopes for the film, which will also be released in IMAX format, because Oppenheimer starts in the middle of the big summer cinema season, when the field is very strong.
