Elon Musk Is Getting Suspicious About Artificial Intelligence!

TECH NEWS – X.AI Corp. – another twin company, again from Elon Musk’s neighborhood. After what he said a while ago, it goes against his earlier statement…

Musk had previously called for a broad stop on AI-related innovations to assess their social impact better. Nevertheless, he has also started to immerse himself in this technology. Okay, there’s Tesla’s ADAS (Autopilot Advanced Driver-Assistance System) and the bipedal Optimus robot (someone could be a Transformers fan… ). Still, as the all-powerful lord of Twitter, it seems that he wants to use artificial intelligence on an almost Orwellian level. (So it wouldn’t be surprising if he does think Twitter could be used for everything, except that we only see this in China with WhatsApp… only Musk would give it a more straightforward name: X.)

Last week, Musk was reported to have poached several employees from DeepMind (owned by Alphabet… Google’s parent company!) and bought 10,000 Nvidia GPUs to train a Large Language Model (LLM) following the OpenAI ChatGPT pattern. Remember that Twitter has a parent company in Nevada, X Corp., and the Wall Street Journal has discovered another company incorporated in that state: X.AI Corp. Since the state offers significant legal liability insurance, it’s attractive to Twitter and Tesla’s CEO. No wonder he’s so keen to move everything here from Delaware.

Meanwhile, what is Musk doing? Pretending to be innocent. He continues to post memes (this one, for example, is an English pun on the male reproductive organ;. At the same time, this one might be divisive because it refers to the events of the movie V for Vendetta: the government creates a virus to take power away from the people, and it may also refer to events of the last three years).

Elon Musk is getting a bit carried away, isn’t he?
