MOVIE NEWS – Oops! Rita Wilson, whose passion is the film, published the 3rd poster of Bazi’s big Greek lagzi on her Instagram with an exclamation. On the one hand, because Tom Hanks’ wife is of Greek origin herself, on the other hand, she was also very interested in the Greek franchise as a producer: at the time, she and her husband helped bring the first film under the roof, then its sequel and the current play.
At the beginning of the 2000s, it became known in overseas art circles that there is a writer-actress named Nia Vardalos who, in her one-person play, presents with hilariously funny honesty what it feels like to be Greek in America and in general. Rita and Tom fell in love with the project and did not rest until it became an Oscar-winning film. The current production, as usual, was written and directed by Vardalos. The epicenter of events is still the Greek family bursting with the joy of life, but the younger generation, who approach the traditions of their ancestors with a fresh perspective, are at the center of events. A good part of the plot takes place in the magical Corfu surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea.
