Grand Theft Auto VI: Not Just Anyone Posted A Mysterious Message About The Game!

The actor who plays Franklin in Grand Theft Auto V is quite hyped for the upcoming reveal trailer for the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI…

Shawn Fonteno, the actor who plays Franklin Clinton in Grand Theft Auto V, shared how excited he is for the upcoming reveal trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI. GTA V recently celebrated its tenth anniversary in September. The GTA Online component continues to be a success to this day, with a robust and dedicated player base.

It’s been over a decade since GTA V’s masterpiece, and fans of Rockstar’s open-world crime franchise have eagerly awaited any concrete news regarding Grand Theft Auto VI.

Rockstar’s once pristine reputation has taken a nosedive in recent years. Primarily because of the messy appearance of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition 2021. Also, with the questionable pricing decisions of the PS4 and Switch ports of Red Dead Redemption. However, Rockstar co-founder Sam Houser recently confirmed that the reveal trailer for the “next Grand Theft Auto” will finally arrive in early December.

There are just over two weeks left until the beginning of December. Grand Theft Auto V’s Franklin Clinton actor Shawn Fonteno has posted a cryptic comment about the game. This was then – somehow – deleted not long after. The actor excitedly wrote in all caps on Twitter: “If I told yall I might get in trouble.” He did not explain what exactly caused this excitement, but the reaction of Ned Luke, who plays Michael in the game, is also suspicious.

With the game just around the corner, it seems apparent that he’s talking about the reveal trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI coming out next month – which he may have already seen!

Fonteno being so excited to see the GTA VI trailer begs the question of whether or not Frankin Clinton will be in the game in some form. GTA games typically make small references to previous protagonists in the series. Having Franklin take centre stage would be another matter entirely. If this is indeed the case, then we also have to wonder if GTA V’s co-protagonists, Trevor and Michael, will also appear.

However, having all three GTA V protagonists in GTA VI seems unlikely. The series has always been about telling new stories with entirely new characters. Franklin likely won’t be a part of the game’s grand unveiling next month. It’s also possible that Fonteno has nothing to do with Grand Theft Auto VI at all. Maybe he was shown the trailer as an alumnus of the franchise and part of the GTA family.
