Deadpool 3: Trailer For The Long-Awaited “Superhero Buddy Movie” Arrives! [VIDEO]

MOVIE NEWS – The long-awaited trailer for Deadpool 3 (Deadpool & Wolverine for now) debuted during the Super Bowl, to everyone’s delight.

Marvel Studios has finally released the first trailer for the superhero movie Deadpool 3 (Deadpool & Wolverine), which promises to team up Ryan Reynolds’ big-name hero with Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine. If all is true, the movie will hit theaters on July 26, after being delayed by a few months due to last year’s double strike.

Matthew Vaughn, the director behind Marvel titles like X-Men: First Class, recently revealed on BroBible’s Post-Credit podcast that he’s seen details from the film that are “unbelievable.”

The director of Apple’s spy comedy Argylle, currently in theaters, added: “That’s going to be the jolt… the Marvel universe is about to have a jolt of them and it’s going to bring that body back to life… I think Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman are about to save the entire Marvel universe.”

Deadpool 3 was co-written by Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Zeb Wells, Reynolds and Levy. Its producers are Levy, Reynolds and Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige. Morena Baccarin returns to the MCU in the triple sequel as Deadpool’s fiancee, Vanessa. Brianna Hildebrand as the mutant “Negasonic Teenage Warhead”. Jennifer Garner as Elektra. Leslie Uggams as Blind Al Karan Soni as Dopinder, the taxi driver. Stefan Kapicic as Colossus. Shioli Kutsuna as Negasonic’s girlfriend, Yukio. Also, Rob Delaney as Peter, a member of X-Force.

New additions to the cast of the Deadpool franchise are The Crown’s Emma Corrin and Succession’s Matthew Macfadyen.

Roughly half of the new Deadpool was filmed before the writers’ and actors’ strike last summer. Filming was completed after the strikes were lifted, between November and January. After the work stoppages, production quickly resumed on Warner Bros.’s Beetlejuice 2, Paramount’s Gladiator 2, Sony’s Venom 3, and Warner’s Juror No. 2.
