Persona 3 Reload has announced an expansion that will include three waves of DLC, including a complete remake of FES’s epilogue, The Answer.

 

 

Persona 3 Reload has announced an Expansion Pass containing three waves of DLC. This culminates in a meaningful epilogue entitled Episode Aigis – The Answer. The game’s DLC will be released in three waves over the next six months. It offers fans recurring tracks from previous games. For example, from Persona 5 Royal and Persona 4 Golden, new costumes and, of course, additional story content.

Although reviews of Persona 3 Reload were almost universally positive, fans noted that content from previous versions of Persona 3 was missing.

Episode Aigis, in particular, returns some of the missing content. It seems they recreated the Persona 3 FES epilogue, The Answer.

The recently announced expansion for Persona 3 Reload will be released in three waves. The first wave will arrive soon, on March 12th. The second wave is sometime in May. The third wave will appear in September. In the first wave, fans can listen to tracks from Persona 5 Royal and Persona 4 Golden. The second wave includes even more tracks and costumes. The third wave seems to be the most substantial. It consists of a full-fledged epilogue with a new story and dungeon. Fans will want to complete Persona 3 Reload’s 50+ hour campaign before diving into Episode Aigis. Of course, players still have some time until the third wave finally arrives.

Just like the game itself, which was released on day one on the platform, the Persona 3 Reload expansion pass will be free for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. Players on other platforms or non-subscribers can purchase the add-on pass for $34.99.

Given the differences between the different versions of Persona 3, it would be difficult for developers P-Studio and Atlus to include every single piece of content in Reload.

Still, bringing back the final chapter of FES is welcome. The original version of The Answer adds around 30 hours of content to the already long base game.

While nothing official has been announced, reports and rumours suggest that fans can look forward to remakes of several classic Persona titles in the future. This certainly makes sense, given that Persona 3 Reload is currently Atlus’s fastest-selling game.
