Shadows Of The Damned: Hella Remastered: Garcia Hotspur And Johnson Strike Again

Grasshopper Manufacture’s game will be cross-gen, so there will be no need to change console generations (although the PC system requirements may force us to upgrade our configurations…), as we will see the story of Garcia Hotspur and Johnson on the 2013 consoles as well.

Shadows of the Damned, an action-adventure road trip through hell, has finally been remastered! Get ready for a tale of rock, love, and a little demon slaying. Join Garcia Hotspur and his bony sidekick, Johnson, as they journey through the depths of the underworld to rescue Garcia’s kidnapped lover, Paula, from the clutches of Fleming, the Lord of the Underworld. Let the soul of rock ‘n’ roll run wild in the heart of the twisted hellscape that is the Underworld.

The forces of light and darkness will pave your way. Like ravers in a nightclub, demons are emboldened by the dark, but weakened by the light. Use your sidekick Johnson to blast your way through the darkness of the underworld. Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered is a third-person shooter created by industry legends Goichi Suda (No More Heroes, Killer7, etc.) and Shinji Mikami (Resident Evil, God Hand, etc.). Mikami’s new studio was in the news earlier today.

PAX East 2024 is taking place in Boston, Massachusetts, USA until March 24th, where you can try out Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered at the NetEase Games booth (as the Chinese tech giant has acquired Grasshopper Manufacture), which is now available to wishlist on multiple platforms (PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Steam).

Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered will be released later this year for PlayStation 5, Xbox consoles, PC (Steam), PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. The original was released by Electronic Arts in 2011 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 (it’s hard to believe that back then the publisher dared to open up to such crazy games; now only indie studios can try under EA Originals).

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
