Helldivers 2 Broke Unimaginable Records – The Game’s Selling Like Hotcakes!

The daily numbers of Helldivers 2 are still reaching 300,000 players, more than two months after its release…

We all agree that Helldivers 2 is one of the biggest surprises of this year. It wouldn’t even be unusual for him to be nominated for a GOTY by the end of the year. Over the past few weeks, we’ve talked a lot about its sales success and how it’s evolved based on community-requested updates and content. The latest is that 2 months after its release, it still has a lot of players. This is a huge compliment to the third-person shooter.

However, this is not the only positive news about the game. In Europe’s largest market, the United Kingdom, we learned that Arrowhead Game Studios’ game was already the best-selling title in February. But it repeated its position in March, ahead of Rise of the Ronin and Dragon’s Dogma 2.

The biggest surprise is that, according to GamesIndutry, during its two months on the market, it surpassed the sales of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, in the already mentioned 8-week period!

Several factors contribute to this. One is price, with the PS5 exclusive starring Peter Parker and Miles Morales costing £70 in the UK. At the same time, Helldivers 2 debuted at a discounted price. Spider-Man 2 can currently sell more than 10 million.

Helldivers 2 is still going strong on Steam as well

Another interesting piece of news reported by Gamingbolt is that the game is still doing great numbers on Steam. If we go to the Steam database, we can see that the enthusiasm is not decreasing. Moreover, these days, depending on the day, there are between 80,000 and 300,000 players. As of Sunday, April 7, it reached over 345,000 users. It’s remarkable what Helldivers 2 has achieved, as these types of offerings tend to decline quite a bit over time. But the team at Arrowhead surprised the community and now they can reap the well-deserved fruits of their labor.
