Is Lords of the Fallen Heading to Xbox Game Pass?

No, we’re not talking about 2014’s Lords of the Fallen, which was developed by Deck13 for CI Games (the German studio went on to develop both The Surge titles and Atlas Fallen), but its sequel, which was released last year.

Exputer has reported that the action RPG, which we can safely call a Souls clone, will be coming to Microsoft’s subscription service. It’s not known exactly when, but Exputer’s sources say that Hexworks’ development will be on Xbox Game Pass by the end of May. The timing is interesting, and that’s probably why it’s happening, as Saull Gascon, the executive producer of Hexworks, wrote on the Xbox Wire regarding Lords of the Fallen’s 1.5 update, Master of Fate…

“This week we reached our biggest milestone since launch: Version 1.5 – Master of Fate. It’s the culmination of over 30 updates since launch that have added new content and quality of life updates – including rigorous difficulty balancing – that have significantly improved performance, stability, and optimization across the board. All of this has resulted in Master of Fate being the best version of Lords of the Fallen yet,” Gascon wrote.

No word yet on whether Lords of the Fallen will be part of Game Pass. In the meantime, here’s a reminder of what’s coming in the next few days. Kona II: Brume (console, PC, cloud) on May 7, Little Kitty, Big City (console, PC, cloud) as a new title on May 9, and Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons (console, PC, cloud) on May 14th as a returning title. In recent days, Have a Nice Death (console, PC, cloud) and Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition (console, PC, cloud) joined the service.

If Lords of the Fallen shows up in the second round of updates in May, we’ll be sure to cover it.
