Download a Bonus Game from PlayStation Network Without a PlayStation Plus Subscription

No PlayStation Plus Essential, PlayStation Plus Extra or PlayStation Plus Premium subscription is required to download this game as a free gift from Sony’s network.

Destiny 2: The Final Shape has just been released. This is the final add-on for Bungie’s game, and it’s no coincidence that it’s called as such. PlayStation Stars members can download the final add-on of Destiny 2 for free, and this time there are no strings attached from Sony that many people might fall for.

PlayStation Stars is Sony’s free loyalty program. By completing certain challenges in certain games, or simply playing certain titles, or even making a purchase from the PlayStation Store, you can earn points for your actions. These points can be redeemed for discounts on the PlayStation Store or digital collectibles (NOT NFTs!) that can be purchased and displayed on our digital shelf for others to admire.

In June, Destiny 2 fans can get their hands on a digital collectible called A Light to Accompany the Darkness. It features the infamous Tower of Destiny. All you have to do to get it is become a PlayStation Stars member and then play Destiny 2: The Final Shape on PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 4. On Reddit, it says that all you need to do is launch Destiny 2 without installing The Final Shape DLC, although this hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, so who knows what the truth is. The simplest really is to launch Bungie’s final Destiny 2 DLC.

The Destiny 2 collectible is available later this month, but you can get your hands on something similar for Dredge… or there’s a redeemable discount on the PlayStation Store, so if you’ve got something you’ve been eyeing for a long time, you might as well buy that game.
