Tom Cruise’s Daredevilry Has Reached New Heights – This Is the Amazing Stunt He Did Last Time!

MOVIE NEWS – Tom Cruise risked his life again during the aerial stunts of Mission: Impossible 8…

Hollywood icon Tom Cruise is once again doing what he does best – risking his life for our entertainment. Because the actor took to the air for the latest Mission: Impossible 8 stunt. As revealed in new photos from the set of the action movie sequel, the next Mission: Impossible will see Cruise hanging from an upside-down plane, seemingly without a parachute, as he fights to save the world again. Cruise is holding on for dear life in the pictures as the small biplane tilts upside down with the superstar dangling from it. A second pilot is also seen wearing a green screen suit, suggesting that they will be digitally removed from the scene. So Ethan Hunt finds himself alone, wondering how exactly he ended up in yet another deadly situation…

Check out the photos and footage posted on one of the actor’s fans’ X accounts of the thrilling Mission: Impossible 8 sequence below!

“When the plane flips upside down, Cruise – who did not appear to be wearing a parachute – is left hanging off it,” a source said via The Mirror.

“The characters appeared to be filming a fight scene where they grapple with one another before the plane turns upside down. The pilot was dressed all in green, suggesting he will be removed from the scene and Cruise and Morales will be the only ones in the plane.”

The stunt was filmed in Oxfordshire, England. Alongside Cruise is Mission: Impossible: Dead Reckoning star Esai Morales, who returns as the evil Gabriel in the eighth instalment.

Tom Cruise is famous for doing stunts himself, especially in the M:I franchise.

The details of Mission: Impossible 8 are not yet known. However, given that the seventh and eighth films were originally planned to be split into two parts, we can no doubt expect the eighth instalment to pick up where Dead Reckoning left off. Thus, in Mission: Impossible 8, Ethan Hunt and his team will probably once again fight against the enemy artificial intelligence, “The Entity”, and Hunt will also have to face Gabriel (Esai Morales), a terrorist connected to his past.

M:I slipped to 8 series (it was originally supposed to be shown on August 5, 2022). Now it looks like it could hit theaters in the US on May 23, 2025.
