Star Wars Outlaws: Wild Card and A Pirate’s Fortune both look very promising…
Ubisoft is doing everything it can to promote Star Wars Outlaws. The sci-fi action-adventure game, set in one of the world’s most popular franchises, will be released at the end of August. That is why the French company is now finalizing all the details of Kay Vess’ story. They’ve also revealed what we can expect from the two future supplements.
Ubisoft has already confirmed that the title developed by Massive Entertainment will receive two post-release story DLCs. However, now the publisher has decided to share more information about both experiences in an article posted on Ubisoft’s official website.
The contents will be released in 2024 and 2025.
- Star Wars Outlaws: Wild Card (Fall 2024). “Kay is hired to infiltrate a high-stakes Sabacc tournament, but as she crosses paths with the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, she soon learns that another game is being played…”
- Star Wars Outlaws: A Pirate’s Fortune (Spring 2025). “The Trailblazer’s reputation precedes Kay as she runs into veteran pirate Hondo Ohnaka, who is looking to settle old scores with a ruthless gang of pirates.”
Ubisoft’s article reminds us that this content will be available to those who purchase the Star Wars Outlaws Season Pass. However, it will also be available for purchase separately. Additionally, it’s worth noting that the Season Pass includes an exclusive mission with Jabba the Hutt, a starter cosmetic pack, and two extra packs that add additional customization options for Kay and Nix.
Will we be able to turn off the “yellow paint” in Star Wars Outlaws?
In addition to details about post-release content, Ubisoft also wanted to end a recurring controversy. Star Wars Outlaws will have “yellow paint” to guide players, but there will also be an option to turn it off completely. Thus, the user will decide whether to embark on Kay Vess’s adventure with or without additional guidance.
