Grand Theft Auto V: Fans Look for Their Jaw on the Floor Seeing a Mod’s Graphics

The second video for Rockstar Games’ next game is already getting a flood of comments on social media, but that’s not what we’re going to talk about.

We live in an era of remasters and remakes, where studios are looking to bring their successful but slightly older titles to today’s audiences with a series of graphical enhancements. An example of this is the recent release of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, which brought the nearly 20-year-old title up to today’s graphical standards, and games like The Last of Us have also received multiple updates despite being released just over a decade ago.

As technology advances at an alarming rate, it makes sense that our expectations rise, and when it comes to Grand Theft Auto V, it seems that fans are eager for Rockstar’s title to receive the same treatment. While Rockstar has indeed re-released Grand Theft Auto V, a modded version recently shared on the Grand Theft Auto VI subreddit gives us a glimpse of what the next Grand Theft Auto installment could look like.

Maybe you won't believe me but these photos are from GTA 5… 'natural vision evolved' mod. The question comes to mind; Can GTA 6 be better than this?

Not many people believe that Grand Theft Auto V Natural Vision Evolved was shared there, and many are wondering if Grand Theft Auto VI can be better. Well, after watching the trailer, I think it’s safe to say that it can. The mod was created by Razed Mods and is an “in-progress” visual overhaul mod for Grand Theft Auto V. According to the creator, a number of changes have been made to the environmental weather, lighting system, environmental colors, tone mapping, world textures, building models, props, flora and more to blur the line between fantasy and reality. Until Grand Theft Auto VI is released, it might be worth a look?
