BTS Member RM Named Global Ambassador for Samsung Art TV

RM, a member of BTS, the iconic K-pop band of the 21st century, is stepping back into the spotlight as the ambassador for Samsung Art TV to support the international art scene. The appointment marks one of RM’s first official activities since his military service in Korea, a highly anticipated return.

In addition to his music career, RM is a globally recognized art expert who has made headlines for his passion for the arts, including visits to renowned museums and his private collection of contemporary art. Now, as the ambassador for Samsung Art TV, RM will be able to speak to Samsung TV users around the world with his distinctive voice and capture their attention with his passion for fine art.

RM’s passion for art and culture resonates deeply with our vision to make art more accessible through technology,” said Hun Lee, Executive Vice President of Samsung’s Visual Display Business. “We are thrilled to welcome him as an ambassador for Samsung Art TVs, and we believe his voice can inspire a new generation to explore the world of art in a more meaningful, personal way.”

Samsung Art TVs combine advanced display technology and artistic expression to create an immersive platform where art comes to life. Through the Samsung Art Store[2]—a subscription service featuring over 3,500 high-definition, 4K-quality artworks—users can now enjoy carefully curated content accompanied by RM’s thoughts. His personal reflections and commentary on the selected works will be available directly through the Art Store, giving fans and art lovers a unique insight into RM’s aesthetic sensibilities.

“I find deep inspiration and solace in art, both as a creator and as a person, so I am honored to collaborate with Samsung to share my artistic journey and my love of visual creativity,” said RM. “I hope that through our collaboration, more people can connect with art in their daily lives, just as I do.”

As part of his new role, RM will be attending Art Basel, one of the world’s leading international art fairs, held in Basel, Switzerland. He will host a special panel discussion where he will share his thoughts on contemporary art, collecting, and the cultural significance of visual storytelling. Highlights from the event, including exclusive insights and behind-the-scenes moments, can be found on the Samsung Global Newsroom website.
