Rivage: You Can Already Try It on PC, but the Sci-Fi Puzzle Adventure Is Also Coming to Consoles! [VIDEO]

Exnilo Studio and Raw Fury have turned Rivage into a multiplatform release, since it had previously only been planned for PC.

The Rivage demo offers about an hour of gameplay, letting players explore the opening sections of the A.R.E.S. station and get a taste of its puzzles and atmosphere. Save data from the demo cannot be transferred into the full game. Since the demo is a specially modified version of the game, that is simply not possible. In the 25th century, humanity was forced to expand beyond the Solar System. Among the stars, they discovered the planet Vesta, a world that might promise a new home. To study the planet, the A.R.E.S. space station was placed into orbit to assess its potential. But when the station and its crew become entangled in a strange cosmic phenomenon, disaster strikes…

Miranda awakens alone on the station, trapped by that mysterious phenomenon. Traces of the past echo through the world: an object out of place, a newly opened door, a message left behind, as if the station itself were challenging us. In order to survive, Miranda must rely on her wits, solve intricate puzzles, experiment with strange objects, and piece together the truth behind what happened to the crew and the station itself. As Miranda unravels the mystery, one truth becomes increasingly clear: progress always comes at a price. Rivage is an atmospheric sci-fi puzzle adventure that blends exploration, logic, and narrative discovery into a deeply beautiful experience where every step brings us closer to escape.

Step aboard the A.R.E.S. station, a meticulously crafted and fully interactive environment where every object tells part of a story. Examine artifacts, analyze research data, and uncover hidden notes scattered across abandoned workstations. The station was once home to a crew, each of whom had their own goals, fears, and worldview. Now only fragments of their lives remain: journals, personal logs, and encrypted messages spread throughout the station. Piece together their relationships, uncover the emotional burden of isolation, and experience a story that intertwines scientific mystery with human vulnerability.

Every puzzle in Rivage is tightly woven into the story. We repair broken systems, recalibrate malfunctioning mechanisms, and solve environmental challenges that play with gravity, magnetism, and the flow of time itself. With the K9 system, Miranda can log discoveries and preserve certain puzzle solutions, allowing players to focus on what truly matters: uncovering the truth behind the distortions consuming the station. That balance is what makes the gameplay engaging, rewarding cleverness and persistence instead of repetition.

Rivage is set to launch sometime this year for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC. The demo is available on Steam: Steam.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
