The game lineup is changing for the two higher-tier subscription plans of PlayStation Plus, as the monthly lineup is regularly announced.

The PlayStation Plus Game Catalog, available to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers, will feature Date Everything! (PlayStation 5) on September 9 in the United States and the United Kingdom, on September 10 in Japan, and worldwide on September 15. RuneScape: Dragonwilds (PlayStation 5) and WWE 2K26 (PlayStation 5) will be available worldwide on September 15. Also on September 15, Ball x Pit (PlayStation 5) and Slitterhead (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4) will be released everywhere except in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Japan, where they will be released on September 22. Then, on September 29 in the aforementioned three regions—and on September 15 everywhere else—Dungeons of Hinterberg (PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4), Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4), and Sniper Elite: Resistance (PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4) will be released.

This catalog of games with release dates that vary by region seems like an incredibly stupid idea. However, given that Sony recently canceled one of Hideo Kojima’s upcoming games, we’re no longer surprised. On September 15, the PlayStation Plus Classics Catalog, accessible only to PlayStation Plus subscribers, will add the PlayStation 2 game Mega Man X Command Mission (PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4), as well as the PlayStation 4 title Metro Redux.

And that’s it. We know it’s a bit of a cliché, but Sony should also list on the PlayStation Blog which titles will leave its subscription service in the coming days and weeks. If Microsoft can include this information in its twice-monthly Xbox Game Pass announcements, then Sony should be able to do the same. For this reason, we continue to believe that Sony is justifiably open to criticism, regardless of the lineup of games for a given month.
