MOVIE NEWS – The second season of Lioness, the series of Oscar-nominated Taylor Sheridan, co-creator of Yellowstone, will be available exclusively on SkyShowtime from November 1. The actors of the action-packed drama: the main character and executive producer of the series are Zoe Saldaña, Laysla De Oliveira, Genesis Rodriguez and Michael Kelly, as well as Oscar winner Morgan Freeman and Oscar and Emmy winner Nicole Kidman, who is also an executive producer.

SkyShowtime has today announced that the much-anticipated second season of the hit drama series Lioness will debut on November 1 with two straight episodes. After that, new parts will arrive weekly.

The star-studded cast of Lioness includes lead actress and executive producer Zoe Saldaña, as well as Laysla De Oliveira, Genesis Rodriguez and Emmy-nominated Michael Kelly. The series also stars Oscar winner Morgan Freeman and Oscar and Emmy winner Nicole Kidman, who also serves as executive producer. The series was produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios.

As the CIA’s fight against terrorism moves closer to home, Joe (Saldaña), Kaitlyn (Kidman) and Byron (Kelly) try to stop the latest unknown threat with the help of a new Lioness agent.With pressure mounting from all sides, Joe is forced to face the difficult decisions he made as head of the Lioness program. The series also stars Dave Annable, Jill Wagner, LaMonica Garrett, James Jordan, Austin Hébert, Jonah Wharton, Thad Luckinbill and Hannah Love Lanier.

The series is produced by Taylor Sheridan, David C. Glasser, Zoe Saldaña, Nicole Kidman, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin, Jill Wagner, David Lemanowicz, Geyer Kosinski, Michael Friedman and Keith Cox.

Lioness is part of Sheridan’s ever-expanding universe on SkyShowtime, which also includes 1883, Lawmen: Bass Reeves, Mayor Of Kingstown, Tulsa King, the upcoming Landman and the second season of 1923. All five seasons of Yellowstone are also available exclusively on SkyShowtime, and the continuation of the series will be released on the platform later this year.
