Ana de Armas Against a Flamethrower – The Ballerina Trailer Is Here! [VIDEO]

MOVIE NEWS – In the trailer for Ballerina, Ana de Armas proves that she is ready to become an action movie legend alongside Keanu Reeves, who plays John Wick.

The premiere of “From the World of John Wick: Ballerina” (to emphasize the film’s full title) was originally scheduled for the first half of the year. But the cinema was quite late. Only yesterday, we finally saw the first trailer for the action thriller, which will, however, immediately immerse viewers in this much-loved universe.

As we already know, the feature film will tell the story of Rooney, a dancer played by Ana de Armas, who wants to take revenge on a group of assassins who murdered her family. He’ll be in good company, as the Ballerina teaser features Keanu Reeves returning as John Wick and Lance Reddick as Continental’s janitor. Reddick, remember, passed away in March 2023, just weeks after the film was shot.

How does John Wick appear in the trailer for Ballerina?

If you’re wondering how John Wick could be here, all you need to know is that Ballerina takes place between the third and fourth parts of the saga, starring the Matrix and Unbridled actor. In this way, the character can be easily found, and moreover, it is known that he gets a prominent role. Ian McShane and Anjelica Huston have also been confirmed to reprise their roles. Other signings include Gabriel Byrne, Catalina Sandino Moreno and The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus.

For now, Ballerina is very much a picture that fits into this universe, which already had a spin-off on TV a few months ago. (The Continental series.) In the little more than two-minute trailer, we see Ana de Armas doing what we’ve become accustomed to in this franchise: she stops at nothing to show off her enemies, and that’s everything from breaking a neck to putting out a flamethrower…

The film is scheduled to hit theaters on June 6, 2025.
