Battlefield 6: Will the Game’s Battle Royale Mode Be Released Unexpectedly?

According to a leak, the code name, game mode name, and possible release date may already be known.

In the summer, parts of the Battlefield 6 Battle Royale map were leaked, along with all the major and minor landmarks. Now, according to details discovered by data miners, the new content will be released on October 28 alongside the first season. The leaked information states that this content is codenamed Granite and is not part of the content already known for the first season.

Neither Electronic Arts nor Battlefield Studios has announced a release date for the highly anticipated mode. However, the teams have said that preparing seasonal content for the shooter will begin with an exciting new Battlefield battle royale variant. This suggests that the mode will be released sooner rather than later. ModernWarzone, a leaker who covers both Battlefield and Call of Duty, tweeted that it’s safe to say this is Battlefield 6 Battle Royale.

While the code itself does not convince everyone, data miners are certain that the game will be released secretly, meaning it will be made available without an announcement. They even believe they have discovered its name is Battlefield: RedSec. The first season of Battlefield 6 starts on October 28, so the release date is approaching. Electronic Arts and Battlefield Studios recently released a preview of the first season of post-launch content, showcasing the massive Blackwell Fields map and the new Strikepoint game mode.

The update is divided into three phases. The first phase, Rogue Ops, will be available on Tuesday. It is the first major update for Battlefield 6, following a series of minor bug fixes and balance adjustments. The game has proven extremely popular, selling over seven million copies in less than a week and quickly breaking the franchise’s previous records. But let’s see if Battle Royale is coming.
