Most of the Avengers: Doomsday cast was announced in March 2025 during a multi-hour YouTube livestream, yet excitement has been reignited by teaser trailers Disney has been slowly rolling out. These previews initially played for audiences attending screenings of Avatar: Fire and Ash, before gradually appearing online through leaks and official releases. While much of the fan discussion has centered on the returns of Steve Rogers, Thor Odinson, and the X-Men, the film may also be quietly setting up further character comebacks.

IMDb Lists Three Oscar Isaac Stunt Doubles for Avengers: Doomsday

Oscar Isaac has portrayed three notable characters within the Marvel universe. He first appeared as the villain Apocalypse in 2016’s X-Men: Apocalypse, later headlined the Moon Knight series in 2022, and voiced Spider-Man 2099, Miguel O’Hara, in 2023’s Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. Although Isaac has not been officially announced as part of Avengers: Doomsday, the film’s IMDb page credits three stunt performers linked directly to him.

Those stunt doubles are Jamel Blissat, Attila Kosztor, and Darren Nop. While it’s common for actors to have multiple stunt doubles, it’s far more unusual for all three to be associated with a production when the actor himself has no confirmed involvement. The most exciting theory is that Isaac could return as Apocalypse, Moon Knight, or even bring Spider-Man 2099 into live action. Still, this remains speculation, and if he does appear, it’s far more likely to be in a single role.

Moon Knight Appears to Be Oscar Isaac’s Most Likely Role

Blissat, Kosztor, and Nop have all worked on other Marvel projects in the past, but Moon Knight is the only one to credit all three as stunt doubles. This strongly suggests that if Oscar Isaac returns for Avengers: Doomsday, it will most likely be as Khonshu’s enigmatic avatar from the Disney+ series. With many fans considering Moon Knight one of the MCU’s strongest shows, there would certainly be plenty of enthusiasm for Isaac to reprise that role.
