Realm of Ink has left Early Access and is now available as a full Version 1.0 release on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch. Leap Studio’s action roguelite launches with a new trailer, full console versions and a BlazBlue Entropy Effect crossover.
4Divinity, a publishing label of GCL Global Holdings [NASDAQ: GCL], and developer Leap Studio have announced that Realm of Ink has officially left Steam Early Access. The game is now available as a full Version 1.0 release on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, while also launching on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch. Built around Chinese-inspired ink art, 2.5D presentation and fast combat, the action roguelite follows Red, a swordswoman trapped inside a world written in ink. As she hunts the mysterious Fox Demon, she discovers that her own fate has already been written. What begins as a pursuit therefore becomes a rebellion: Red must fight through illusion, death, rebirth and bosses in order to rewrite the role forced on her by the ink-painted world.
The game’s roguelite structure turns death into a return to the Inn, a sanctuary where allies, upgrades, new combat forms, unlockable abilities and fresh build possibilities await. Each failed run can therefore become the foundation for a different next attempt. The playable forms are not simple visual swaps: each one has its own weapon, skill set, tempo and combat identity. The full release includes nine distinct combat forms and weapons, more than 40 elemental Ink Gems, over 200 unlockable perks and artifacts, and an evolving Ink Pet system. Ink Pets can develop into more than 15 different forms depending on the chosen Ink Gem combinations and combat style, so the game is not only about fast reactions, but also about constantly reshaping builds.
A New Trailer and a BlazBlue Crossover Arrive with the Full Launch
The launch is accompanied by a new trailer showing previously unseen gameplay, cinematic scenes, more violent combat sequences and the darker side of the game’s ink-painted environments. The trailer presents Realm of Ink not simply as a fast action game, but as a constantly changing manuscript where every defeat, new ability and encounter brings the player closer to the Fox Demon and to the truth behind the world’s rules. The team has also made a press kit and review code requests available, meaning the full release is arriving with the usual media support around it.
One of the major additions in the Version 1.0 launch is the crossover collaboration with 91Act, which brings BlazBlue Entropy Effect content into the Ink Realm. As part of the launch update, players can unlock Oread, the formidable Stage 4 boss from BlazBlue Entropy Effect, now reworked as a fully playable character form. Oread arrives with a new Ink Gem, two exclusive Ink Pet skins and unique perks designed to support her aggressive, pressure-heavy combat style. The game offers four atmospheric realms inspired by Chinese folklore and literature, more than 20 mythical beings, powerful bosses, evolving Story Relics and character encounters that expand the world beyond combat. Realm of Ink is now available on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.
