Tides of Annihilation’s New Trailer Unleashes Its Wild Arthurian Fantasy Action [VIDEO]

Eclipse Glow Games has shown the fast, magical, and spectacular battles of Tides of Annihilation in a striking gamescom trailer. The release date is still missing, but Gwendolyn’s new voice can already be heard: Angela Sant’Albano, the actress behind Grace Ashcroft in Resident Evil Requiem, has taken over the role.

Gamescom 2026 Opening Night Live did more than announce new projects, as it also brought several of the industry’s biggest games in development back into the spotlight. Tides of Annihilation stood out with a trailer that moves from quiet, atmospheric cinematics to blisteringly fast battles in a matter of seconds.

The new footage shows Gwendolyn dodging at speed, casting spectacular spells, and delivering merciless melee attacks in a fantasy world that twists Arthurian legend. The contrast between the ruins of modern London and the supernatural threat remains one of the game’s strongest visual ideas.

Eclipse Glow Games has not yet revealed when the title will launch, but its technical ambitions are difficult to miss. The lighting, detailed character models, and large-scale effects suggest that the studio intends to take full advantage of current consoles and modern gaming PCs.

The trailer also confirms an important casting change, with Angela Sant’Albano now voicing Gwendolyn. Jennifer English was originally attached to the role, but she left the project several weeks ago and helped the developers choose her successor.

Sant’Albano reached a wider audience in 2026 as the voice of Grace Ashcroft in Resident Evil Requiem. Tides of Annihilation is in development for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, although the spectacular gamescom comeback still did not bring a firm release date.
