NCSoft built a game around the Twitch/Kick culture—a team-based, survival-focused, first-person shooter called Like or Die.

In Like or Die, streamers clash in a fierce battle for survival. The cosmic platform "Quaya Stream" broadcasts your every moment live. Reshape the battlefield with blocks and create new twists. In a world where wins and deaths are content, the survival stream is about to begin. This live broadcast features sixteen streamers split into four teams and streamed in real time to an audience spanning the cosmos. Earn Likes with your epic plays, survive until the end, and become Quaya’s ultimate star streamer. Use your Block Gun to spawn cube blocks anywhere you want. Build defensive barriers to protect your Nexus or carve out new entry routes to catch the enemy off guard. How you reshape the battlefield is entirely up to you.

As long as the Nexus—the source of respawning—remains intact, you can jump back onto the stage if you fall. However, the moment the Nexus is destroyed, respawns are gone for good. As the Nexuses collapse one by one, the broadcast reaches a fever pitch. Defend your team’s Nexus and destroy the enemy’s to be the last team standing. Secure resources across the arena to purchase more powerful weapons and items, thereby boosting your team’s combat power. Incredible power lies inside the airdrops and Lucky Blocks sent by your sponsors. How you spend your resources and which supplies you fight for will make or break your team.

NCSoft’s game has only been announced for PC, so there are currently no plans to develop Like or Die for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, or Nintendo Switch 2. The release date hasn’t been announced yet, and the system requirements aren’t listed on the game’s Steam page.
