The day might be familiar to you, but the same can’t be said about the new video, though.
Aaryn Flynn, the studio’s general manager, has confirmed that the game will launch in North America on March 21, followed by two days later in Europe. We have heard this date before, as Dark Horse’s Amazon listing about an artbook has said all the way back in October (!) that the book will launch simultaneously with the game, and even then, they wrote March 21 for the book’s launch day…
There’s a new video as well: Bioware kept their promise and brought a brand new trailer to NVidia’s CES keynote. We do have to warn you that this demo ran on a GTX 1080, which means that we can’t expect anything similar to this graphical detail on consoles, including the PlayStation 4 (and potentially the Project Scorpio as well). Still, Andromeda looks quite serious: the footage shows a loyalty mission, a dynamic class change system, a new planet, and a few special effects.
Before the game launches, you can still sign up on Bioware Beacon to participate in the game’s multiplayer beta test. As we’re just 1.5 months away from Andromeda‘s launch, the developers have to reveal the beta’s starting and ending days shortly…
