Quentin Tarantino‘s work is getting a game adaptation that’s not that worthy of the license.
Somehow, Reservoir Dogs just can’t seem to get a break with video games. The 2006 game was average at best, and a decade later, Reservoir Dogs: Bloody Days, which is in development for Xbox One and PC, seems to be another questionable adaptation. The trailer, uploaded by Gamespot, seems to underline the „I never asked for this” thought: 251 likes, 606 dislikes. Allow us to quote two comments: „Who the hell asked for this crap?”, and „Quentin is gonna be pissed.”
The game looks to be a top-down shooter, bank heist game, which is a waste for the Reservoir Dogs license. The movie deserves a better adaptation than this, for example, something focusing on the character development of all the Misters.
In case you are still interested, you can get the game on May 18 – the Steam store page is already open. Hotline Miami did it better.
