Cyberpunk 2077: Production Restarted?

CD Projekt RED’s next biggest title could have seen a restart behind the scenes.

Sometimes, it just happens: DOOM, which ended up hitting the stores throughout the world last May, started out its life as Doom 4, but id Software ended up scrapping that altogether about 4-5 years ago. It may have happened to Cyberpunk 2077, too, if we can believe the NeoGAF user by the name of  Boskee.

He thinks that Cyberpunk 2077 was changed after the release of The Witcher 3: Blood And Wine, which could mean that work on the game before May 2016 may have been scrapped. That might be a little too extreme if it was too: the Polish team throwing out at least four years of work into the garbage can…?

In other news, if you like GWENT, which is in development for Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4, but can’t play these three platforms that often, you may find this tidbit good: CD Projekt RED is looking for a programmer for its GWENT team that is knowledged in iOS, Windows Phone, and Android…

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
